You tricked me with your conniving ways; your sly smile, the gleam in your eye, and the way you the words rolled so elegantly off your tongue all made me powerless. I believed that we would only create happy memories - that you and I would stroll hand in hand while we faced whatever the world threw our way. Little did I know, when I seceded, that my fate was sealed. Gone were the carefree days, the days where I roamed the city, seeing the wondrous sights. I was now something new, transformed and tricked, by a charming charlatan like you.
Readers may remember Wisdom Tooth from an earlier guest post entry I did over at Headunderwater. I’m pleased to say they’re back with another whimsical, charming track about Pinocchio! It is a reminiscent of music you might hear on Treasure Island, the kind that would be playing as you and your pals slowly turned into donkeys. Singing saws wail over the fairground-like faire. His voice carries over the rolling percussion and jangly guitar - merry and optimistic - like a mirthful miscreant joyfully strutting along. Mischievous mecaniquepop.
