I adore the sounds of Wisdom Tooth so much, that in honor of having a root canal done today, I am sharing this video he sent over to me. It’s quite lovely and childlike and retains a sense of mysterious whimsy.
You may recall, I shared the sounds of Wisdom Tooth over at my blogger bro’s site, Headunderwater, earlier this month.

MémoireD’amour - Butterfly Nurse.
Yours Truly just dropped this How To Dress Well video of the man himself performing a classic Kells number. I cannot express enough how much I love HTDW and this cover, which he dedicates to a friend, solidifies the fact. Major love.
Simon Frank’s cover of Bo Diddley’s - “I’m A Man” from a soon to be released cassette on Goaty Tapes.
VHS Dream Factory - “Slushhh”
*Music by Jewel Yen (myspace)
Fan made video for Evenings - “Babe”. I don’t think I will ever get over just how gorgeous this track is. And now, my eyes have something delightful to gaze upon.
Dahga Bloom - “Golden Sky” (previously mentioned here)
*NB - Video is from a Bollywood film Pyaara Dushman. The OST is by the wonderful Bappi Lahiri.
PREMIERE: Julian Lynch - Just Enough
I’m happy to share a video I just finished for one of my favorite tracks off Julian’s stunning album Mare. Its made from footage of my own childhood, a mood and tone I thought matched this gorgeous song (also included in a previous yvynyl mixtape). If you haven’t already, do go pick up his record from Olde English Spelling Bee.
The combination of the old footage and “Just Enough” is making me teary eyed. This is how childhood feels. Beyond gorgeous.
Craft Spell’s video for “You Should Close The Door” is completely inviting.
