unholy rhythms

It isn't about if you're the first to hear the music, but the fact that you're hearing it at all. I have an unnatural addiction to music. This is an attempt to "archive" my tastes with collections of links/downloads. follow me: twitter | last.fm | hype | email me: ohunholyrhythms Send me your track *if you want me to remove a link or send me music, email me.

Witchney Houston’s “T34CH3R5” builds its frantic foundation from samples of Ciara’s “Promise” into a smorgasbord of schizophrenic, haunting, happy hardcore elements that had me reeling from start to finish. Muted staccato drums obliterate wailing, whining synths only to kowtow to its zig zagging partner. As Ciara sings, coos, and nearly purrs, “you can be my teacher, i’ll do homework” the words morph beyond recognition - looping and twittering. A marriage of the unexpected and oh so addictive.
